My disc has been acting up a lot lately. It seems that whenever I spend like, 20 minutes or so on the game it freezes and the music repeats every 5 seconds. The odd thing is that, there are no scratches, burns, or blemishes on the disc, and my PS3 can play all my other games just fine without any malfunctions. I've even cleaned the disc on more than one occasion to see if that helped. I am stumped on this one. I have to save after every game, practice, trade, ect. It is getting annoying...any suggestions without having me waste 60 bucks to buy another one?

only thing i can think of is getting a dvd cleaner cd, i know ur ps3s new, but u never know, it could do the trick, theres a few different one's out there, but the more u pay chances are the better it is, and its worth having over time

Don't you have the receipt for the game maybe they can exchange it for a new one
or
try renting a copy of nhl2k7 and try it to make find out if it is the game or the ps3

I think I fixed the problem. It seemed to only be in that franchise save data. For some reason Svobota got player of the week for top Center, Defenceman, and Goalie. Even though he is a left wing o.O
